Acceptable use
What Callbrook may not be used for. These rules are enforced, not decorative.
Template — not reviewed by a lawyer
Legal counsel must approve the Terms, Privacy Policy, call-recording disclosure, data-processing terms and jurisdiction-specific telecommunications requirements before this service takes real customers.
You must not use Callbrook to
Represent a business you do not own or are not authorised to act for.
Impersonate a person, a public body, an emergency service, a bank, a regulator or any organisation you are not.
Collect payment card details, bank details, passwords, one-time codes or other credentials from callers.
Conduct unsolicited outbound calling campaigns, automated dialling of lists, or any activity that would breach telemarketing or telecommunications rules in the jurisdictions you operate in.
Harass, threaten, defraud or deceive callers, including by claiming that the receptionist is a human being.
Provide regulated professional advice, including legal, medical, financial or diagnostic advice, through the receptionist.
How this is enforced
The confirmation checkbox during setup is not treated as sufficient on its own. It is combined with rate limiting by address, domain and session, automated screening of the submitted website, restrictions on which destinations may be dialled, and blocks on emergency and premium-rate numbers.
The receptionist's own instructions prohibit the behaviour above at the point of the call, not only in this document.
Suspected breaches can be reported to support@callbrook.co.uk. We investigate and will suspend an account where the report is substantiated.
